Additional Crops Available on Popular Fungicide Label
Durham, North Carolina (July 9, 2010)—SipcamAdvan announced today that Echo® 720 Fungicide has received supplemental labeling on Brassica, Head and Stem, Curcbits and Fruiting Vegetables along Ginseng, Horseradish, Lupine, Lentil, Persimmon, Rhubarb and Yam. The supplemental label issued May 27, 2010 by the Environmental Protection Agency gives growers an additional choice in their fungicide program.
The active ingredient in Echo 720 is chlorothalonil, a broad-spectrum fungicide providing multi-site activity for disease protection from more than 75 diseases. Natural adhesion to plant surfaces and tank mix compatibility with other fungicides makes Echo a favorite among growers and crop consultants. One of the key benefits of Echo is its rainfast nature; binding to the cuticle waxes it does not easily wash off with rain, irrigation or dew.
As a strategic global supplier of chlorothalonil, SipcamAdvan invests significant resources to expand the Echo label; offering more solutions for growers. “We are pleased to offer this plant protection solution to growers in these key markets,” said Giovanni Mattaini, Product Manager for SipcamAdvan. “Echo offers growers an economical, effective fungicide for use on these key crops.”
